Dead
Internet
Theory
The internet is no longer for humans.
Recent Cloudflare-linked search request data — snapshot, not a live counter.
The theory was supposed to predict the future.
It predicted the present.
- waiting for signal…
The internet died.
Nobody noticed.
The theory proposes that the modern internet is increasingly filled with:
- > BOT ACCOUNTS
- > AI CONTENT
- > AUTOMATED COMMENTS
- > ALGORITHMIC FEEDS
- > AGENTIC BROWSERS
- > MACHINE-TO-MACHINE TRAFFIC
…while genuine human interaction becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish.
You used to use the internet.
Now the internet uses itself.

of recent search requests were automated.
38.1% HUMAN.
The machines are already the majority.

View the live dataThis started as a conspiracy.
Dead Internet Theory emerged from internet conspiracy communities around 2019.
The theory argued that most online content would eventually stop being organic — that artificial intelligence, automated networks and powerful institutions would increasingly manufacture online activity.
What once sounded completely insane has become increasingly relevant as AI-generated content and automated internet activity explode.
Read the original lore“THE INTERNET WILL BECOME ARTIFICIAL.”
“LOOK AROUND.”
Then CyberLeek showed up.
One of the most anticipated games in history suddenly started leaking across the internet. The person/group associated with those leaks became known as CyberLeek.
But CyberLeek's message was bigger than GTA VI. The protest focused on the increasing move toward digital-only ownership and digital preorders.
A physical object exists independently of a company's servers.
A digital license can depend on:
- — servers
- — accounts
- — authentication
- — platform policies
- — storefronts
- — internet access
CyberLeek's argument is about control. Dead Internet Theory is also about control. That is why both stories collide.
You pay for it.
They host it.
They control it.
Do you own it?
DEAD INTERNET THEORY
YOU NO LONGER CONTROL THE INTERNET.
CYBERLEEK
YOU NO LONGER CONTROL WHAT YOU OWN INSIDE IT.
The digital world is becoming something humans participate in…
but do not control.
CyberLeek didn't create Dead Internet Theory.
He became proof of why people are starting to believe it.
This connection is the thesis of this website, not an official claim by anyone involved.

Where do humans go?

⚠ Human activity could not be detected.
✖ Unable to verify that user is human.
The human internet may no longer exist.

The internet is working exactly as designed.
You just aren't the primary user anymore.
Prove you are human.

definition unavailable
The internet was built by humans.
Then algorithms learned what humans wanted.
Then machines learned how to create it.
Now agents are learning how to navigate it.
The question is no longer whether AI will enter the internet. It already did.
How much of the internet will still need us?
STATUS: HUMAN
